After recording their 1st EP When The Shadows Felt The Sun in their hometown of Petaluma just north of San Francisco, The Cabs set out to show the world their new development of Alternative Indie sound that has grown into its own very unique industry corruption free rockage. The Cabs have a kind of sound that can appeal to a very wide variety of people ranging from Rockabilly Folk to Hip-Hop. Playing Venues such as The Whisky A Go-GO in Los Angeles, CA as well as The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, CA was an early achievement for The Cabs doing so in just months after coming together as a band.
The Cabs consist of five members: Gigi Moral (Vocals/Guitar), Max Reineke (Guitar), Time Jappe (Bass), Jared Shields (Drums), and Austin Shields (Drums/Percussion). When the Shadows Felt the Sun was released on August 29th, 2008 and The Cabs are currently in the process of creating their first full length album.
