Luigi Langella began to play guitar at the age of 13. After one year spent studying classic guitar he approached jazz falling in love for one of his favorite guitar players Pat Metheny. He started developing his jazz technique at the A.P.D.M music school of Portici (Napoli) where he met the well respected guitar teacher Giancarlo Perna from whom has been taking lessons for three years.
For the following year he has been working as session musician locally trying to absorb all the styles of music most played at the time and forging his own personal way to approach harmonies. In the meanwhile he never stopped to write music inspired from the many emotions and moods he''s gone throw. His love for traveling brought him to experience incredible adventures and having the honor to meet and apprehend the music of great names like Scott Henderson,Mike Stern,John Scofield,Mark Egan,Peter Erskine, Dave Wackel, Umberto Fiorentino, Rocco Zifarelli, Pippo Matino and many others.
Three years ago He ended up in England where he started an intense music collaboration with some of the best local musician in search of a new musical adventure. The most important project he''s working at the moment is the release of his first solo album Aqua Marina based on acoustic guitar sounds .Full of passion and emotions the album includes mainly original songs linked together as they tell the story of the most important love experience of his life.
The CD also include some instrumental covers of one of his favorite Italian singer/songwriter Pino Daniele and feature two special guest Katie Marie acoustic guitars, bass guitar and vocals and Colin Rowlands on drums. Now playing electric bass as well as acoustic guitar Luigi''s influences include bands such as the Pat metheny Group, Weather Report, solo artists such as Mike Stern, Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorius, Paco Delucia, Al Dimeola,Tuck Andress, Michael Hedges and many others. Luigi plays with much emotion and creativity producing exiting solos and a unique style.
The Cd has been recorded mainly in Gigi''s home studio in Torquay except for
the drums and percussion recorded in Brixam at Mr. Rowlands https://www.tradebit.com
Album present a various content of styles as well as sounds.

I''ve been working for over 6 years to put together my dream and finally with
the help of two great musicians I made it! The artist we are talking about are:
Katie Marie, one of the most beutiful person and talented
musician i'' ve ever met and to her i would like to send my love because
without her moral and technical support i couldnt have done it. She plays a main
role on the CD,performing great bass lines and three amazing
original songs written from her on which i play some lead.
Not forgetting about Colin Rowlands, an incredible drummer and percussionist that with his expertise and entusiasm really captured the essence of my songs .
