They have also caught the attention of local radio, as KLBJ has supported the disc by spinning South Austin Girl and Hard Luck Man.
With the launch of https://www.tradebit.com, an ever growing mailing list membership, and their high octane performances, they have begun building a solid fan base. A MacJack show is nothing short of a good time and no one leaves without feeling entertained. Word is spreading fast that this is an up-and-coming act not to be missed.
The Sound
A kind of down home funky hee-haw rootsy bluesy brand of rock ''n roll. That''s the simple answer to describe MacJack Daddy''s sound. Down to earth songs with memorable melodies draw comparisons to Tom Petty and Steve Earle.
Whether rapping about Elvis, ragging on the underage drinkin'' Jenna Bush, or paying homage to South Austin girls, MacJack Daddy has no problem keeping the audience''s attention with their up-tempo performances. Collectively, the band brings a wide range of styles, tastes, and influences to the table. They all blend together in one creative melting pot, generating a sound as unique as Austin. Solid songwriting and collective input from the band helps shape the diverse song list.
