Caglo Mac and Kitty Willow are a McLean, Virginia based songwriting and performing team. Together they create a unique blend of country, pop and folk, full of vocal contrasts and musical excellence. The duo writes and records in their own LOFT Studios and performs throughout the United States and Europe.
Mac has been offering his unique sound to the music world for many years. At the age of 21, he was signed to ABC/Paramount records with his vocal group, The Holidays. They were produced by Don Costa of Frank Sinatra fame. The Holidays song, "Big Brown Eyes" hit number 8 on the charts.
With his commanding vocals, magical touch on the flute, and expert and talented ear for producing and mixing, Mac continues his diverse career. He has produced award-winning material and wrote and produced "The Magic Kingdom" for Walt Disney.
Willow is a classically trained, award winning pianist, having won Germany''s coveted Badenwurtemburg Competition at only 17 years of age. On the CD, she plays keyboards, 12-string and slide guitars and lends her silky, melodic voice to the group.
Caglo Mac and Kitty Willow have traveled to London, Denmark, Nashville and Los Angeles to gain exposure for their music. Upon completing their 50,000 mile global trek, their accomplishments include a Cashbox Top 100 hit, a publishing deal with Acuff/Rose Music, their music being played on the BBC and Radio London, and numerous radio and television appearances, including forty in Denmark alone, where their CD charted at #3.
