Details:
Once every few minutes comes along
An artist with the perfect image, perfect song
That makes you think
Hey, this is a star in the making
Then you hear the album
A complete waste of time
Nothing but the one hit song
Even with production from Timbaland, Premier or The Neptunes
Some artists are just incapable
The list is endless

Then you hear - THE TOUCH

The history is amazing, the image is mind blowing,
The dedication is that serious, and the consistency,
Hit after hit after hit.....

You have more and more proof, more reasons to love this guy

You realize hey, I like this make
What the heck, I love this make

Oooops, almost forgot the bio.

Well, here it is ......

Biography

Midas Touch is a record label formerly based
In London, England, now based in New York.
Artists/groups include Bad Porn, Cranium Shock, Crucial, and of course Midas Touch.

Midas Touch was born in Liverpool, England.
He lived in Ghana, for ten years,
Where he went to school etc,
And did all the things people do.

He lived in Holland for a while,
Moved back to London in 94,
Where he studied sound engineering and music.
Moved to Massachusetts in 99, stayed for a few months,
On to Atlanta for a year, been in NYC for 3.

Touch is only 26, but has successfully written
For several artists including Sabrina (France),
And The Usual Suspects (London).

Touch has also choreographed for groups
Like DC1 and 311, both huge acts on the dance scene in London.

Midas Touch is also the lead singer for Bad Porn,
A rock group currently recording in New York.

What Eminem did for white rap,
And Nelly did for St. Louis
Is exactly what Touch is about to do for the UK.
You have probably heard rap from the UK before,
Sounds nothing like Midas Touch.

History In The Making - The Album
Is a double album - 30 songs,
With tracks that cover all genres of hip hop.
Crossover tracks, club tracks, anthems, - You name it it''s on here.

SONGS

1. Baby It''s Okay
The complete song, the hit single.
This song could go on radio any day, and be the No. 1 song in the country.
From production, lyrics, concept, thru to delivery.
This song has it all.
Killer hook, killer verses.
Pharrel and Jay Z haven''t come anywhere near close to this since "I Just Wanna Love You"
Filled with enough metaphors and charm to rival Fabolous.

* Expect to see this song on the billboard charts this summer *

2. I Just Can''t (Damn)
The creativity behind this song is amazing.
A song targeting the Latina audience.
From the Eddie Murphy sample in the beginning, the funky guitar lines, crazy drum pattern, witty lyrics,
It''s packed with surprises.
Every listen gives you a thrill.
Refreshing to see that there are still creative artists out there, venturing outside the norm.
With parts of the song in Spanish,
The Latina audience has another reason to love Midas Touch besides looks.

3. Please
The club track.
Features samples from Pulp Fiction.
Samuel L Jackson comes in "Say What Again!"
A well put together track.
Showcasing Touch'' production skills as well as lyrics.
Expect to hear people screaming "Bitch", in the clubs this summer.
Love the third verse most, where it goes
"Fuck you, - ummmm like in a threesome with me, u, and your mother?" that''s hot.

4. I Just Wanna
Catchy infectious hook.
You''ll be singing this in no time.
The first verse starts "Sweetheart I''m better than Shakespeare,
I write the kinda lines, that''ll make you wanna shake my spear"
Granted that will go over most heads, but you got to admit
Not many artists around today have that kinda wit.
A sleeper hit, you''ll be singing this hook for a while.

5. Yeah!!!
Lyrically a favorite of most listeners.
The metaphors, production, and delivery on this song are flawless.
You get to hear Midas Touch as intended.
Many songs change thru production.
This is one of the songs that stayed true to its vision.
Killer lines that take you back to when rap was rap, and not just talking over beats.
"A picture''s worth a thousand words, my words are worth pictures"
With the demise of Rawkus, songs like this are becoming more and more underground.
Refreshing to see such a commercially viable artist be able to express such depth.
