Details:
A lot has happened since the first Millenary release, "High Energy." Most importantly, Millenary has finally become a band. "Feel The Heat" is driven by the unification of the trio and the interaction of the instruments, made solid through constant performances and practice.

To be sure, this album rocks. Blazing tracks such as "Restless," and the title track "Feel the Heat," flare up against punk, minute-and-a-half scorchers such as "Show Me Some Skin." Contrast these to the sweet, uplifting "Get A Good Look," and the fun, catchy "Summer Vacation on the Run," and you''ve got Millenary in it''s element: a devotion to bar chords, basslines, and backbeats, with a few tricks thrown in to show off the serious side.

Singer/songwriter and guitarist Sarah Stollak rocks with a voice both edgy and full of finesse over her own melodic guitar hooks. An advocate for women in music, she has been a co-founder and organizer of Ladyfest Lansing since 2001. Sarah originally formed Millenary in Lansing in 1995. Sarah''s dream is to rock and roll all night, and knit every day.

Bringing in the low end is bassist Tammy Cook, who joined Millenary in the fall of 2002. She has been active on the Lansing, MI music scene in the bands Mustard Pie and RAW, as well as in the region with folk rock staple Half Looking.

Drummer Shawn Doolittle made his debut Millenary performance at Ladyfest Midwest Chicago in 2000, at the CD release show for "High Energy." He has been rockin'' the steady beats to get you moving ever since. Millenary is Shawn''s first band.

The full-length album "Feel The Heat" highlights the band''s blend of catchy songwriting with punk, garage rock attitude, capturing the band''s fun, high-energy live shows with vigilant studio trickery.
