Lord Luther "aka" Luther McDaniels formed the Doo Wop singing group the 4 Deuces in 1955 in Salinas [central coast] California and recorded their "Best Seller" W-P-L-J (White Port and Lemon Juice) / "The nest is warm (but the goose is gone) and Down it Went on Music City Records Label in Berkeley CA in 1955.
