I was born in the part of New Orleans known as New Orleans East but raised in the valley of Las Vegas, Nevada. Although sin city is known for its plethora of opportunities, I left in search of many things... including time and energy to work on music. In Bayou Chicot, Louisiana, I was connected to Peggy and Wayne Forman. These incredibly talented artists and songwriters opened their music books and home to me. They diligently worked with me to create my first CD. We opted to keep things simple on this CD because I really want my voice to be the focus...call it a demo! The three of us worked together to create this simple production of acoustic music. Have no doubt, though, these are great songs... most of them tell a story:
1. Make A Move: a song of relationship miscommunication, or lack of communication.
2. One Bridge I Couldn''t Burn: a woman in a marriage that she has no heart in. He loves her and is wonderful, but she pines for someone else. I know we''ve all felt this one before!
3. Poison Vine: a warning to those cheating souls out there. Beware; don''t touch!
4. They Can''t See Where I''m Coming From: For any non-believer- just because you didn''t see it doesn''t mean it didn''t happen.
5. I''m Hung Up On Loving You: a cute, little love song with a tropical feel. Think of that vacation on the beach.
6. Haven''t You: for anyone who has ever really felt low... we all have.
