Details:
SPAIDE RIPPER Hassle Life LLC. Ya Best Believe, Spaide R.I.P.P.E.R. (Rhyming In Perfection, Punishing Every Rapper) is as serious as his name when it comes to creating big club records with a street swagger and an intellect that reaches the core of the collective hip-hop conscious. Its this commitment to creating enjoyable yet relevant hip hop, free from profanity, which caused the Source Magazine in 2003 to crown him the Peoples Champ of St. Louis, long before the world had heard of another rapper claiming this title. In his own words Spaide pulls no punches, "Im in the game to up the value of music coming out of Saint Louis. I think thats what every artist from my city should be in it for." This determination and dedication to quality is only one clue as to why Spaide has been named Saint Louis Best Hip-Hop Artist 2005. Spaides buzz is finally being felt in places far away from Wabada & Goodfellow the hood in Saint Louis, Missouri that he now calls his home. Off the strength of his numerous mixtapes, his tenacious grind and his very own record label, Hassle Life, Spaide has placed himself in the offices of some of the industries most respected label heads. While he continues to field offers from various labels, Spaide continues to attack the game by releasing the club banging single Always which held 13 weeks on the Billboard charts top ten and is still getting major burn in markets as far away as Houston,TX; Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Miami,Fl. The critically acclaimed Peoples Champ of Saint Louis has recently signed a lucrative deal with Urban World Wireless to create Ringtones so that more of his fans can access his music. All of Spaides current success can be linked back to the days when he used to eat mcs as a member of the notorious street posse the Hassles, along with Nimmy Russell and Trauma Man. Listeners to his earlier music can definitely witness Spaides growth as an MC and his dedication to creating great music that can be enjoyed by all ages. This approach is what got him recognized by legendary comic genius and fellow St. Louisan, Joe Torry, who invited the rapper to record music for the soundtrack to his Torry Brothers comedy DVD. Spaide has also made guest appearances and/or collaborations with Juvenile, Potzee(Asylum), Ruka Puff, opened up for boxing dynamo Devon Alexander the Great and also collaborated with Spanish Rap Group Tres Coronas nomminated to a Latin Grammy in 2007, Tres Coronas also recorded The spanish Version of Spaide''s Smash Hit ALWAYS (Not Released Yet). The same business acumen that led him to establish his own label with partners Bo and BoOo is what drove Spaide to create Saint Louis first DVD project by an underground artist, Dat New Dirty. The popular DVD is still in heavy circulation throughout Saint Louis hoods. His Mixtape Da Streetz Iz Talkin was released earlier in 2008 under his own Label Hassle Life. Fans should be on the look out for a new single, a new mixtape, a new DVD project and a new album coming from Spaide real soon.
