In their hometown, in the loft of a barn, at Sean''s 16th birthday party, a small crowd of close friends gathered to eat birthday donuts (cake was not involved that year) and watch what would eventually become the band Shine Under play a set of roughly crafted originals and a few bad covers.
Throughout high school core members, Sean and Adam played many shows and the band would gain quite a following. As their senior year wound down, the boys would split up to further their education at seperate colleges. Moving to Nashville, TN on an internship after school, Sean became the first to again pursue his love for music. The rest of the members would follow not long after, and the band was, in a sense, formed again.
Now, following the release of their highly anticipated cd, No Place Like Home, Shine Under has opened for several artists in the Christian rock scene such as Our Heart''s Hero and Everyday Sunday. They continue to play shows in and around Tennessee in hopes to tour the world, bringing much love and rock to all.
