Mizz Porsha, a young, talented and gifted young lady, born and raise in the little town of Cambridge Ohio, population of 3500, a city just east of Columbus is now ready to explode in the music industry. Mizz Porsha, born Jennifer Porcha is the descendant of a family who has a strong musical background. Her mother Pamela as well as sister Jessica along with brother Chad all have the gift of singing. Mizz Porsha credits her family, namely her mother (Pamela) for all the love and support along with sacrifice and encouragement given in order for her to pursue her dreams of being an established entertainer. Mizz Porsha experience the untimely loss of her father in 2000. The loss of my father really made me sit down and evaluate my life and realize what matter to me the most, and outside of my son, the thing that matter to me the most, was my music. "Mizz Porsha penned a song in which she dedicated to her father title Someday." At age fourteen she wrote and sang the theme song for a local television show called "Tune Into Zanesville," while also performing in local talent shows, schools, and churches. After gaining popularity locally Mizz Porsha was selected to compete in "Star Seek" a show derived from "Star Search" in Nashville Tennessee. Mizz Porsha won the segment singing the gospel tune title "Can you reach my friend." Do to financial inadequacy Mizz Porsha and her family could not afford the return trip necessary in order for her to continue competing.

By age eighteen nothing has come to pass, as far as her singing career, so Mizz Porsha reverting to street life, which cause several altercations with law enforcement and local authorities. It didn''t take long for her to realize that she was headed down the wrong path. At age twenty Mizz Porsha gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Akeem, which became the key element to the rebirth of Mizz Porsha refocusing on her music career.

May 2003, Mizz Porsha hook up with childhood friend and rapper Jameztown who ask her to collaborate with him on a few tracks for his upcoming single. By doing the collaboration she was the linked up to the Executive Vice President of Money Orientated Brothaz Inc. Maurice Lathan, the label that Jameztown was sign under. After wowing the Executive Vice President, she was quickly signed to a recording contract of her on.

Mizz Porsha is now in the process of recording her album, which will be set for release sometime in 2004, but for know she''s completed the 1st single titled, "Love don''t live here anymore!" Mizz Porsha says that the song has a lot more meaning than the usual ex-boyfriend dilemma, due to the fact that at one point in her life she was in love with the streets. She''s breathing easy days, focused, and delivering riveting lyrics with her soulful voice.
