The Collier girls- Bree, Lyndee, and Hailey- are native residents of Nashville, "Music City" Tennessee. Music has been an influence in the Collier girls'' life for as long as they can remember. From an early age, they would gather up their parents'' old records and perform "stage" shows, complete with singing and dancing. Who knew these early performances would be a sign of things to come!
The sisters first began singing publicly with their dad in 2000 with his band, Sonny Joe Blues Band. They covered Motown songs at weddings, parties, receptions, and more, and soon their multi-faceted vocals became a much sought-after item in the Nashville area. After a taste in the spotlight, it became clear to them what they wanted to do, and the group Collier was born. Their sound is definately a mix of their roots- a soulful blend of R&B with a motown flair merged with inspiring and meaningful lyrics.
Collier is unique, as each of the girls takes turns as lead vocalist. Their natural melodic harmony shines through in ever song they sing- something that only comes from singing together for years. They also write their own lyrics and melodies, drawing from their musical backgrounds and real-life experiences.
