– After playing with several well-traveled Rock bands, 30-year music veteran Ace Andres has turned the “New Age Music” Genre upside down with the release of his 4th album “7 SECRET VIBRATIONS” –Music for clearing limiting beliefs. The former Vietnam War Veteran, Preacher, single father of 2, and acclaimed “Guitar-god” by The Wave Magazine of Silicon Valley has recorded an album based on the principles of the Law of Attraction, which has become a popular topic for discussion because of the success of Rhonda Byrnes’ underground movie “The Secret”.
This Album is a musical masterpiece and a course in quantum physics and New Thought Spirituality all at the same time. Although Andres claims to still respect and practice Christian teachings, he’s quick to point out where Jesus spoke of faith making great things happen. The former Church of Christ preacher points out that operating in a state of high vibrations are where you want to live. These Vibrations according to Law of Attraction teachings resonate with the teachings of Christ.
Love, joy, peace, endurance, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance are all positive or high frequency vibrations that align us with the spiritual world. Conversely low vibrations such as depression, anger, hate, greed and selfishness are carnal vibrations and keep us “out” of alignment with our goals.
The New Age Music of your hippie Aunt Moondog is no longer what you’ll hear. There are no flutes, harps or Australian “Didgeridoos” on any of Ace’s tracks. They sound more like “The Teachings of Abraham channeled thru the Rolling Stones”. Ace takes Wallace D. Wattles’ 1910 dissertation on “The Thinking Stuff” and Raps to a very funky hip hop rhythm “I know like I know like I know” a line spoken by Lisa Nichols in the movie “The Secret” sounds like it was written by Holland-Dozier-Holland (Motown) and emphasizes the importance of faith and belief that your desired response is “on its way”.
The most effective song on the album is called “Ho Opono pono”. This is a Hawaiian technique that acknowledges subjective reality and the person trying to rid themselves of “limiting beliefs” says to the divine (God, higher power, Universe etc…) “I’m sorry, forgive me, Thank you” and finally “I love you”. In taking responsibility for what ever you did that created the baggage that you are carrying, you make a sincere plea to your higher power for “forgiveness”. This is again another Christian practice that Andres’ points out.
The Law of Attraction is about HOPE. The Secret is: “We can have, be, and do anything we want if we use the Law of Attraction according to its defined principles. Jesus said “If you have the faith the size of a mustard seed, you could move a mountain (Matt 17:20) into the sea”. (Mark 11:23)
