Crossroads Music is pleased to announce the release of “Lookin’ Up,” a new project by independent artist Lynne Modranski. “Lookin’ Up” is Modranski’s second full-length solo album and includes ten original numbers.
Writing songs since age 16, Modranski began performing 14 years ago with “Crossroads to Glory.” Now in her sixth year of solo music ministry, Lynne continues sharing music in a Christian Country/Inspirational Pop style.
Songs from Lynne’s first album, “Things I See” are heard worldwide thanks to many US radio stations as well as stations in Ireland and England and several internet radio stations. In the last several years she began traveling with her music to perform concerts in across the Eastern US and was priviliged to open for premier Christian Artist Wayne Watson in 2002.
Her new project, “Lookin’ Up” is a compilation of Lynne’s best songs from the past four years. With Brian Harrington of East Liverpool, OH playing keyboards and guitar, Lou Contumelio of Steubenville, OH adding percussion and Dan Bozek from the University of Steubenville on stand-up bass, the soundtrax for this album are outstanding. Lynne believes that “in addition to the excellent musicianship on this album one of its strengths is the variety of the songs.” “Looking Up” includes several upbeat numbers, including one that has a bit of a Latino flavor, as well as a few songs that allow the listener to just sit back and feel refreshed like a warm Spring rain. Two of the tunes are just fun songs and, although if you listen you’ll find a message in their lines, you’ll discover you won’t be able to keep yourself from smiling.
Currently worship leader for a new contemporary service in Steubenville, OH. Lynne and her husband of 23 years, Steve, have three beautiful daughters and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their second grandchild this fall!
