With an eclectic mix of rock , blues, country and soul, Austin Homegrown is creating their own genre. Currently an Austin based quartet, Austin Homegrown began as an acoustic duo called Shithowdy! Zack Hruska and Paul Leeman played their first show ever, together in May of 2005. After some searching, they came across two other kindred spirits also trying to escape from the service industry. "Rattlesnake" Dave Littrell (drums) and russel Roberson (bass) rounded out the ensemble and added a palpable vibe all their own. With rhythm section firmly in place these Austin based service industry refugees have opened up for such acts as W.C. Clark, Bob Schneider and the Gourds and are currently playing across Texas.
