A J A is an experiment in sound...I am basically trying out different musicians, different genres so that I can create what I consider to be "Jazz"...although I know that "YAYA" to your ears will sound like funky-soul, to mine it sounds like jazz...I play with two very fine musicians in this album, and I think that we have created a fine example of soulful, funky jazz, which is really world beat with interesting poetry...
