.. MI/MN based rap artist Playboy Sho-Tee started his professional career in 1997. He has been featured in several local Battle Creek Shopper & Battle Creek Enquirer newspaper articles since. This artist brings a powerful, energetic, performance to the stage wherever he goes which never fails to win audiences over. In November 2000 he made an appearance performing live on the Ricki Lake Show which was a definite strong point in his career seeing as the audience in NY gave him a great reception, as well as the fact that he impressed Ricki herself. Since the professional start of his career in 1997 he has managed to release 3 albums and 2 singles under his independent label P*M Records / 420 Ent Inc., Currently he is promoting his latest release Meal Ticket in which the album in its entirety will be available late 2004. Sho-Tee has his hand in a lot of the production aspects of his music, he writes all of his own material, and is pretty much versatile as far as lyrical capability and music production. With his style and direction, he is often compared to the likes of such greats as Jay-Z; Foxy Brown; & Naughty By Nature. Although he has his own independent label, he is still trying to get signed and distributed by a major label in the industry in efforts to take his career to that final step of being a recognized name in the business.
