This album examines the perpetual conversation between man and machine. It has been theorized that what we experience as reality is simply two opposite extremes and everything in-between. As we cycle between the ones and zeros, it is good to keep in mind the infinite power of love.
Entirely performed by a machine, The Cabin Light Inside The Spaceship is an experiment of a 12-tone and hip hop nature. The tunes were composed as tonal 12-tone chamber pieces and programmed using a beat processor demo. That is, 12-tone rows are created linearly and sometimes harmonically, while applying to chord changes of diatonic validity and moving on top of repetitive or mutating beats.
It is possible that we are at the dawn of a digital renaissance.
We must act as water and find the easiest path: the path of least resistance.
