Drew Diego Bennett is an International Nuevo Flamenco Guitarist. He practices and promotes The Tao, Tai Chi,
Yoga, and a healthy life style.
As a Maestro, Drew has created a unique Nuevo Flamenco/Classical Guitar style that also blends Salsas, Rumbas, Spanish traditional Flamenco, Mediterranean influences and Romantic Nuevo Ballads. A former music teacher, Drew now lives full time as a National Performer and Recording Artist and Recording Engineer of Flamenco Guitar Music.
Drew began Classical/Flamenco guitar lessons at age seven and studied the prestigious Richard Pick Classical Guitar courses; Chicago University. Drew also studied private
guitar lessons in Jazz guitar, music theory and progressive styles under instructor T.J. Helmerich (Innovator of eight finger guitar technique) who is now on the Engineering Staff
at The Guitar Institute of Technology at The Music Institute in Los Angeles California.
Drew became skilled on the guitar and studied rigorously from 1979 - 1987. He then toured professionally from then to current throughout the United States.
Drew has a rich heritage of Aristocrats in the Pieper lineage, Vonderguist lineage, Bennett Lineage, and Hanna Lineage. His proud heritage has bestowed the power and
mastery that his original compositions command. Drew Diego Bennett also performs the Mandola, Bouzouki, Harp Guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and flutes on studio records. He also acts as the Music Director as well as the Chief Recording Engineer on his Records.
Drew Diego Bennett holds degrees in Sound Physics, Sound Engineering, Business Marketing and Music Theory.
He is also a Black Belt in Kung Fu.

This CD is an evocative Spanish-Nuevo Flamenco Guitar compilation with pieces consisting of Spanish, Brazilian, (Salsa), Cuban, Mediterranean, and Rumba influences. The Ballads
are full of Romance and Passion.
His release ‘Caribbean Remix’ is an intimate remix of the songs previously released on ‘Flamenco Salsa.’ Drew removed the drum kit and keyboard productions, and kept the Latin Percussion. The Flamenco Guitar Tracks were re-recorded as well as the Bass tracks with a more ethnic Salsa-Caribbean style.
