About The Dokteurs
Brett and Derek met whilst living in the spacious loft of an infamous New York film director. After spending many nights jamming acoustic guitars and treating their neighbors to their compositions until the wee hours of the morning, they hatched a brand of electro-acoustic music that immediately sparked a fusion of styles. This cross-genre developed from the dulcet tones of Derek ''GreenPen'' Brown and the guitar and songwriting prowess of Brett Hammond (The Ledge) which continued on to developed a direction all of it''s own and forging the sound of The Dokteurs. They have just finished work on their debut EP ''Howling Lightly'' which has just been released.
