In October of 2006, Dan Parr casually mentioned to fellow musician and friend Greg White that he was planning on writing some music for his wife Sa''diyya, a professional bellydancer. Greg, who owns SG Studios in Ft. Worth, TX, suggested it might be fun to collaborate on the project. After several months in the studio, countless cups of coffee and a lot of fun experimenting with sounds, Globalicious was born. Their music combines rhythms and melodies from various musical styles and cultures with ambient textures and modern beats.
