Details:
The well known Georgia Boy aka Lil Soulja with the hit singles "Kill Yo Self," "What It Is Hoe," and "Dance Hoe." Georgia Boy Lil Soulja aka Rojshawn Barrett 22 yrs old. A native of Columbus, GA. Raised on the Southside of Columbus, grew up like a regular adolescent from the hood. He was inspired to rap at a young age (5) after the death of his favorite uncle Desmond Audridge. Shot down at the age of 17. From a gun shot wound to the neck and chest. This really inspired him to start speaking through his music, telling people his thoughts and feelings through pen and paper.

He was also introduced to the streets at a young age from his uncle Michael Joyner aka (Fatboy) on the streets of North Carolina. Fatboy was a well known dope dealer, and he did not hide what he did from his nephew Georgia Boy, who quickly picked up his uncle''s habits and tried to make fast money. Georgia Boy quit school at da age of 16 and moved to Montgomery, AL to go to job corps. Where he stayed for a year and then moved back to Columbus, GA until he was 19. Then he moved wit his uncle Marcus Strickland in Atlanta, GA. Stayed for a lil minute. But wasn''t doing anything constructive. So he moved to Charlotte, NC and hooked up with his cousin DJ Unique, who was on Bad Boy records at the time DJing for Da Band and Chopper Young City. So then he started taking the music business serious, and then started to travel with DJ Unique to various cities, concerts shows etc. He watched and learned how to work in the music business, but in may of 2005, Georgia Boy opened up for Chopper Young City in Johnson City, TN. And Chopper loved Georgia''s stage performance, energy and his southern style lyrics.

So then Georgia Boy ended up getting a call from Chopper. Asking GA did he want to go on tour with him. So GA ended up being chopper''s hype man for a year and some months. Then took his own route to success, when Chopper got dropped from bad boy. After that GA started doing his own thing, and started opening up for some of the biggest names in the game, such as. Lil Wayne, Baby, Jim Jones, Crime Mobb, Lil Flip, TI, Outkast, Franchise Boyz, Ludacris, Master P, Young Buck and more. He now has various mixtape in the streets, such as. "real recognize real" hosted by DJ unique. That is his his collaboration mixtape f/ georgia boy, popnbulletz, and chopper young city. Also "country boy with country wayz", "country & gutta", and the new mixtape "da most hated kill yoself" vol. 3 hosted by dj gary from richmond, ca. He also is featured on other rapper''s mixtape. Such as majah. From charlotte, nc mixtape "menace to society", hood musik, and chopper''s mixtape. "da re-up". His new debut upcoming album "what da souf''s been missing" coming out the end of 2008. He has now hooked up with his new manager romey dalisay from san francisco, CA. And is now looking forward to a successful career in the music business.

Q: So what made u wanna be a rapper?
GA: I wanted to rap every since I was 12 because I luv music and that’s the only way I can express myself is through my music.

• Q: So Georgia Boy how did u get started in the rap game?
GA: well my cousin DJ Unique of Bad Boy was Young City''s DJ and I opened up for Young City in Tenn. and he liked my energy my flow and whole swag so he called and asked me to be his hype man, he was still on bad boy souf then.

• Q: So who are some of your influences?
GA: Well my first one besides God is my Grandma Linda (RIP) 2 Pac and T.I. of course because I can relate to T.I. Everythang he raps about I then experienced so I feel that nigga more than anyone.

GA: well truthfully it’s a lot of rappers out but can''t really rap, I can rap because I speak the truth and I can really spit no bubble gum raps. I feel like I could get on any rappers level. So I keep patience and I’m coming no rush.

• Q: So who do people most compare u to?
GA: Shit a lot of folks says Pastor Troy and Lil Scrappy.

• Q: Where do u see yourself in the next five years in rap?
GA: I see myself with multiplatinum albums and a couple awards hopefully with my faith in God anythangs possible.

But also being with Young City I met so many people, big up to Chopper for putting me out there him and big cuz DJ Unique and big up to DFB, if I had to pick the coolest niggas in the game I would pick Parlae of DFB.

• Q: Why is your album named what da souf''s been missing?
Ga: Cuz I feel that best describe me right now, cuz I feel like im what da souf ''s been missing, i feel like i got something different to bring to da game, but really if u listen to my album u will see the whole thang really bout my experiences with females good and bad, and my experience in these dirty ass streets of da souf, u know so I had to name it that just get tha album and u''ll understand.
