Born in former Soviet Union, raised in Kazakhstan Vladimir Mokhutov had always passion for music. Taught himself guitar at age 13 he founded a band with his friends who as well enjoyed playing and singing. Few songs written by Vladimir at that time were quite popular among his friends and relatives. But really mature songs appeared after serving in the Soviet Army, University and especially his marriage. His family, friends, life events and beautiful nature were the true source of inspiration for few dozens of songs that only got matured with the years as good wine. Giving minor details to the structure of the song and choosing carefully every word he obtained that symbiosis of meaningful poems (that were also published separately in some newspapers ) and wonderful melodies that together produce unforgettable impression. Even those who do not understand the language can feel behind the voice and tunes such a positive energy and vibe that create an effect of curing your soul.
Immigration to Canada made it possible to realize a long standing dream – to record his first album “The melodies of my heart”. Wonderful musicians such as Eric St-Laurent and Kathleen Gorman worked together with Vladimir on this album, to who Vladimir express his special gratitude.
