There is no mystery to Mystaj G. He is a passion motivated, spirit filled artist led by his heart,trying to give you something you can feel. To put it simply, MYSTAJ G. will give you all that he''s got to capture your attention in his music. First the name Mr. A.J.G. spelled MYSTAJ G. is "all of me" quotes Mr. Anthony James Grandville, "I could not give the world anything made up or fake so I put all of me into my work!"
Born in Chicago,Ill. raised in Magnolia, Mississippi and graduated from South Pike High School. Mystaj G. began his love of music and singing as the lead singer in the choir at St. James Missionary Baptist Church. Mystaj G''s first song in choir was "A Child Of The King". Even as a youth the older crowd was captivated by the power of his voice and constantly encouraged him to do something with his gift. Dancing and singing became Anthony''s way of life in school from talent shows in Eva Gordon Elementary 5th Grade with the B-Boys(Ken Blocker,Adrian Felder, Anthony Witherspoon,Daryl Grady,Warwick Ross....)to becoming the AUTOMATIC MAN in 8th grade break dancing solo, to winning 2nd place at the local skating ring in McComb,MS "Skate City" calling himself and cousin Kendrick Fortenberry "The Fantastic Ones" hoping to win a spot on the local tv show (Black Gold) in Jackson,MS. Anthony had the entire auditorium gasping for air and cheering for more after singing Luther Vandross''s "If Only For One Night" in 10th grade.
The LIFE changing night that started a lot of dreams was 17 March 1988 while singing "My Forever Love" a song by the popular group "LEVERT" with life long friend Darin Gardner(currently a minister of music) and Patrick Varnado (currently lead vocalist of gospel group "The True Believers" opening for The William Brothers) and Anthony J. Grandville (current President/CEO of BZEWorld and Mystaj G. Publishing Company)based in Atlanta,GA.
While traveling around the world in the U.S. Army as an X-ray/surgery technician, Anthony gained the love and respect and recognition of military Colonels, Captains Sergent First Class and everyone in the range of his voice that would LISTEN. Thus with the respect and discipline of the Military and the righteous upbringing in church and the spirit of a soul singer in his blood, BELOW ZERO ENTERTAINMENT is more than proud and too pleased to present to the world, FINALLY IT IS........
