Because Rhythmicru’s SuperToke series lacks in big budget spending, D-Ray and his cohorts have made up for it in pure creativity. The album sees them defiantly bucking popular hip hop song formulas and traditions for a more freewheeling approach. Gone are the Beat Jacks, the corny formulas, and R&B hooks that plague today’s Hip Hop. They''ve been replaced by mid-song beat changes, psychedelic interludes, and in-your-face lyrics for the everyman.
