The album, crafted by Bronxxx (a loner artist who meets 1000 people a year), features vocals and performances by random people we met on the streets. Everyone that crosses our path is a potential guest. Plug in the laptop studio wherever whenever, and press record.
NAM:LIVE! in concert is just as insane. It could be two people recreating the whole experience or fifteen. No two shows are ever the same. If you wanna get up on stage and sing one of the songs, just sign up at the door and go for it. We''ve played shows in bars for years trying to push the parameters in that tired museum piece called the rock band: We''ve had audience members that couldn''t play an E chord come up and play guitar solos. We''ve gone out to the the back of bars to have the bartender sing the chorus of a song and then stop the music so he''s accapella.
Music is about communication and all we want to do is communicate. When we finish a song, all we want to do is share it with someone. That''s what music is about. In the minutes, hours or days between musical notes we don''t want to stop reaching out to people. Music is always on our minds. That waitress serving us heart attack breakfasts and blending our Met-Rx shakes may have a pretty voice to match her pretty face and be perfect for the bridge in our new song "Androgynous Anonymous". We''re just the arrangers of the chaos, and we like to arrange the chaos in a funky, minimalist way. That''s our aesthetic.
