Titus’s Take

The album was made to take you on the journey of a lifetime & enter the place in our world that reflects low wage life as it lives. Or At least through the eyes of the people I have seen, been and are about to portray. The journey carries you on the road that kills. And on to the byway of love that brings a cool confused look to the slaughter. Headphone jack is plugged into you. With every drink of bloody war we fight inside our souls. The killing machine Living day to day with the pain of the past, the hope of the void and nonsense’s final lonely silence. There we feel the final stroke gripping you to a calm sleep only to give rise again to a drunken buffoon bent on winning his lost wages at the track. Turn the page and come to my dark corner and I will punch you in the face! Scary fruit is nonsense screwed on Russian vodka & fuck you! I guess this is the truth remixed so feel the hurt newbie.

Aaron’s Take

Funkyhairman''s 7:30 am was the first collaboration that we did in 2005 which
started a whole new field of music for us. With the feeling of a
complete album but massive motivation and curiosity of what else we
could do we put out 7:30 in mid 2006 and began our second
creation, Headphone Jack. This album is defiantly unique and unlike
anything people have ever heard. Including us
The both of us have our own unique direction in music but when we
started this album I don’t think either of us had any idea what was
coming till about 9 months into it, even then the final out come was
still unexpected.

I feel that the alcohol defiantly had a good bit of input on this
album in a way, when we did 7:30 we would kind of sip our way through the
session keeping a mostly clean head while working ,where with
Headphone Jack we completely cut fucking loose and let what ever was
going to happen, happen. I mean putting down serious amounts of alcohol by
3 in the after noon and still going full force through the music till 7
8 at night sometimes later. As more time passed the songs started
pilling up and becoming more and more out there in several different
ways. From stroke to the hurt, as we started constructing the album the
more it stuck out to us that this was starting to become one of those
crazy fucked up CD''s that was going to grab a certain audience at first
and slowly bleed it''s way onto others as it grew. Through the making of
this album we have had people express that they thought it was one most
unique/ chaotic projects that they had ever heard and that’s what they
loved and what it was that kept there interest where on the other hand
people would just ask “What The Fuck Were We Doing”. This is exactly
what we were going for to an extent. So with this said, grab some beers
open your mind and watch your ears as 8th & SLiMCHaNcE Productions
bring you Headphone Jack!!!!!!
