Back in the late 1950''s to the early 1960''s, guitar instrumentals ruled the airways. The Ventures roared onto the scene with album after great instrumental album, and nobody could quite get enough of the surf & Turf of music.
Meanwhile, guitarist Jordan Lee formed the Original Beach Music Band as well as The Swinging Persuations at a time when rhythm & blues & instrumental guitar blues was red hot.
Guitar blues in particular, remains a major part of the Beach Music era even now. And concerning the blues, this latest album puts strong empasis on both laid back and rocking Guitar Blues, perfect for listening or doing the shag!
