The band is comprised of veteran musicians who have worked with members of Roomful of Blues, The Dixie Chicks, CJ Chennier, and they have produced an album of tasteful blues oriented tunes , but with a modern approach that brings in elements of rock and jazz.

Sadly, Blueblood disbanded in 2002 after a 5 year run of it. The band tried to deliver a different approach to the music with a little jazz rock bend to the mix and while artistically successful, we know all too well how that often translates to financial survival in club world.
We tried, we tried real hard to deliver something with a little taste and style and for that, we are all proud of the effort.
Jay and Charlie continued with the band, Focus, and Ray went onto work on original material with the Kevin Sullivan Band, the band Abbey Rhode and fill in work, all based in Newport, Rhode Island. In 2005, Ray & Charlie began performing around the Newport, RI, area in an acoustic duo as Davis & Meehan and still play https://www.tradebit.com relocated to Florida and is playing somewhere in the sunshine.
