Details:
I met Jaffor Ullah through a mutual friend. He was a biochemistry grad student and had just completed building a small home built synthesizer and audio mixer. He wanted a musician to try it out and I needed a keyboard to play.

It sounded fun and we agreed to work on Sunday afternoons. Jaffor was the audio engineer and I was the composer. I would show up with my circuit bent Casio MT-30 and we would start to work. A sound or a patch would prompt an idea and we would record the song right then.

A limited release cassete was published in the 1980''s, but for all practical purposes no one has heard this music in over 20 years.

I have lost touch with Jaffor, but kept the tapes stored safely in my closet. I am very happy with the restoration work done at Real Time Copies in Culver City, CA and cannot believe how good the music still sounds.

The cover photo is a Hubble telescope photo of Dark Matter. Each bright spot is actually an entire galaxy, making this photograph an extrememly dense collection of stars. It is difficult to believe that there is not intelligent life somewhere "out there."

It seems, however that the real question is not, "Is there intelligent life in outer space?" but rather, "What kind of music do they listen to?"
