Details:
Ron LaTourrette and Mike Cornish had been playing together in a couple San Diego area bands when they decided it was time to break away and work on original music. Ron already had several songs he had written over the years, so in the spring of 2000 the two of them built a small studio in Ron''s back yard and started recording demo tracks. Using a Boss BR-8 Digital Recorder, Ron recorded the guitar parts and vocals, and Mike provided the bass, keyboard and drum machine parts. Once they had about 20 songs completed, Ron and Mike began assembling the band that would become No Agenda.

B A N D P R O F I L E S

Ron LaTourrette (Songwriter / Guitar / Vocals): Born in the Saratoga Springs area of New York, Ron has been playing in bands since the age of 15. In the late 70''s, Ron moved to California and played in several San Diego area bands before forming No Agenda. A big fan of Electric and Acoustic Blues, Folk, Jazz, Country and Rock & Roll, Ron enjoys sightseeing and spending time with his pets. Favorite recording artists include Eric Clapton, Hot Tuna, The Beatles, Roy Buchanon , Buddy Guy and of course, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Lately, Ron has been listening to music by Jack Johnson, Django Reinhardt and Robben Ford.

Mike Cornish (Bass Guitar): Born and raised in San Diego, California, Mike began playing music in the early 80''s and soon began writing songs. In 1990, Mike took time off from music to pursue a career as a Professional Photographer. In 1998 a friend needed a bass player for his band, so Mike put down the camera and resumed his love of music. Mike enjoys Rock & Roll, New Wave, Contemporary Jazz, Big Band, and Latin American music. Favorite artists include King Crimson, The Police, Basia, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Current listening favorites for Mike include music by Rene Dupere (composer for Cirque du Soleil), Henry Mancini and Nora Jones.

Fin Park (Drums / Percussion): After 25 years, Fin left his hometown of Appleton, Wisconsin and lived in Washington D.C., Seattle and Saudi Arabia before settling in San Diego in 1989. Fin''s first band was a Dixieland band in high school. Since then he has played in a number of rock and blues bands before joining No Agenda in 2001. Fin''s musical influences include legendary drummers Chick Webb, Gene Krupa, Keith Moon, as well as Chad Smith of the Chili Peppers. Fin enjoys listening to Roots Reggae, old Rhythm & Blues, Ska, Punk and World Beat music.

Mike Williams (Keyboards): A native of San Diego, California, Mike taught himself how to play piano at an early age and has been pounding the keys ever since. Over the years, Mike had limited his playing to entertaining family and friends. In 2002, when the original keyboard player for No Agenda moved to Australia, Mike was persuaded by former co-worker Fin Park to fill in for an upcoming gig. The chemistry worked and Mike officially joined the band. Mike gets inspiration from Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Billy Preston and Reese Wynans. Mike''s favorite choices for listening include Big Band, Oldies Rock & Roll, some Country and any Blues music.

Brenda Berry (Vocals / Percussion): Born in Macon, Illinois, Brenda started singing in elementary school. Performing for the elderly and doing numerous talent shows, she was inspired by the effect a live performance can have on people. That feeling stayed with Brenda and she enjoyed the happiness live music brought her. Brenda performed with several bands throughout Central Illinois, including the Fat Cactus band in the Midwest area. In 1999 Brenda moved to San Diego and sang with The Poppy''s before joining No Agenda in 2002. Brenda loves jam music, which includes a broad spectrum of styles. Some of her favorite artists are Widespread Panic, North Mississippi Allstars, Ben Harper & Gov''t Mule, Etta James and Peter Green.

Gary Williams (Guitar): Another San Diego native, Gary grew up in a large family where everyone played musical instruments. Gary taught himself guitar as a teen and got pointers from hanging around other guitar players. Gary has played in several San Diego bands, as have several of his brothers and nephews. It was one of his brothers, Mike Williams, who brought Gary in to join No Agenda in 2003. Gary''s musical influences include The Beatles, James Taylor, The Eagles, Vince Gill, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

As is evident from the above profiles, No Agenda members bring a vast diversity of musical backgrounds and influences together and unite them to create a full and rich sound with their music. The band is now promoting their first CD, Until Further Notice, and looking ahead to producing their second CD in the near future.
