T.A.T.U. producer, Ivan Shapovalov recognized Olga''s talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music after the song, "Malchik - Gay" based on Olga''s poem become a national hit.
Olga was born in Moscow, Russia, where she studied piano and singing at a local music school and poetry at Gorky Literature Institute. In addition to modeling and dancing, Olga performed with a trip-hop band, "Lazy Men", as a songwriter and lead singer. She moved to Los Angeles, California in 2000 to enroll at University of California Los Angeles New Media and Entertainment department.
While studying at UCLA, Olga continued writing and recording her songs, where she concurrently pursued her other love...acting. She joined the LA-based Michael Chekhov Acting studio, and can be seen recently in Jennifer Garner''s hit, "13 to 30". Olga has also been trained at the prestigious Van Mar Academy of Motion Picture and Television Acting.
Olga jumped behind the camera, as she directed and co-wrote her first feature, Haunted Boat, which has done quite well in several recent film festivals and has just been picked up for worldwide distribution through Hannibal Pictures. Please see https://www.tradebit.com
Currently, Olga has produced 18 tracks on her demo album, entitled "https://www.tradebit.com". The tracks are all in different music styles and were produced with the help of a variety of talented and recognized musicians from around the world. Yet, two styles are most predominant: pop and downbeat electronic music with sensual vocals and powerful lyrics "on par with Dido, Bjork" Ishkur. New songs and dance remixes will soon be available on the website https://www.tradebit.com.
