this album was recorded over a four day retreat to a small ranch-style wood cabin nestled on the edge of where the plains of southern idaho meet the vast mountain ranges of central idaho. it was recorded by four human beings. all clocks were covered up or buried in travel bags. all phones were turned off or unplugged. the playing was inspired, honest and fun. very alive. very human.
