Particle Salad "The Track Inside" is the result of many years of work writing, recording, and perfecting this material. This is definitely NOT the type of music you record by getting everyone in the same room and pressing the record button. Instead, it''s layers, experimentation, and arrangement until I achieve the mood I am looking for.
Hopefully the music will evoke the same emotion in you. If so, then it was worth the work.
What I definitely did NOT do is edit the life out of the music, which is so easy to do with today''s recording tools. I also decided not to squash the music, so this CD will probably not be as loud as other CDs in your collection.
It''s difficult to categorize this music, so if you think the music is not in the most appropriate genre on CD Baby, please let me know via email.
I''m working on new material right now that is a touch more mainstream, in addition to a side project that is more funk/rock oriented. I also will have some older Particle Salad material for sale here soon if you''re interested.
