Details:
Music is supposed to be about something. This music is about reality and imagination, the yin and yang of our existence. Orange Alert focuses on the new American troubles and the changes in society over the last four years. The reality of our world is that we have entered a new time of struggle, confusion, and disagreement. But, imagination waits as an open window to clarify reality, filter out the ruse, and invent constructive solutions. Music explains questions and describes universal answers where words fail in their confines. If you read between the lines you will find music.
Using the language of the infinite, music is a storyteller reading to us as children, telling tales about far away places and things we''ve never seen. We believe these stories because all of us have dreams of the possible. Everyone still has dreams of what could be someday, somehow, someway. Not all of us grew up to be firefighters, but we all still remember what we wanted to be. In the same way that we remember our dreams, we keep music with us as a reminder of who we were, why we''re here, and where we haven''t gotten to, yet. Orange Alert is a timeline from where we were four years ago, traveling through the present and ending at the cliff of the future. Where do we go from here? We knew when we were children.

ORANGE ALERT

8 o''clock hustle An ordinary day in Chicago, trying to get through the loop traffic and across town. Where were you going four yearsago?
Orange Alert #27 Be vigilant... but go about your normal life. Everybody can look suspicious if you stare at them long enough. If you''re staring, then you look suspicious. Maybe we''re all suspicious. There''s an invisible monster (the bass) chasing you (the saxophone) through your daily life. Are you going to run from an invisible monster?
Baghdad Christmas Spending the holidays in a war zone, what our people are going through, and what their people are going through. Ask your own questions.
Millennium Sunrise This is a postcard from my memory of the first sunrise on the new millennium. I was on the beach with friends, and everyone was talking about how the world was going to be different in 2000. Everyone had ideas about the infinite future.
Devastating Look around... Every bridge has someone living under it. Our country has 1 million fewer jobs than it had four years ago,and that''s a first since the depression. Is this the best we can do?
Check the Conspiracy What''s going on? Whereare the weapons? Are we safer? Are the 1,000 dead soldiers safer? Are their families safer? What about the 30,000 dead Iraqis? Are their families safer?
What you waitin'' for? Everyday we have a chance to make the world a better place. Are you going to answer your call?
The Red Phone my phone rang, and I''m trying to answer it.
Night Vision Looking through a turret, can you see through the night? What''s real and what''s your imagination?
Missing When we are left without someone from our life, they never really leave us alone.
Tomorrow Will Be Better Than Today The troubles of our time present us with questions that can be answered to create an unlimited future for the dreams of our children.

A portion of the proceeds from this project will benefit
the children of our troops who gave their life for us.
