Details:
“Dan Ferrari, a dynamic pop/rock singer/songwriter from New Jersey, proves that he is in a league of his own …the lyrical prowess and refined songwriting skills are effusive, penetrating, and perfectly framed.” So writes A.L. Harper of https://www.tradebit.com in her review of Dan’s CD “Don’t Let It Fall”. Dan is also known as a finalist on the hit NBC TV series Star Tomorrow, where he and his band members played their hearts out in front of millions of viewers that summer of 2006. Fast forward to 2007 Dan is picked by the Songwriters Hall of Fame to be featured in their New Writers Showcase in New York City. He would go on to win the 2007 Abe Olman Songwriting Scholarship Award from the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, an award previously won by grammy-award-winning songwriter John Legend.

Growing up in a small, suburban New Jersey town, Dan would later begin performing with local friends wherever they could get a show. Upon his enrollment in college, Dan chose to leave the small New Jersey town where he grew up and travel to further his education. It was at that moment of leaving his high school sweetheart behind that lit the creative spark in Dan to write his first song. Since his first solo performance in college, Dan has spent many days and nights singing in coffee houses, bars and venues throughout the U.S. It is this dedication to the road that has helped to build Dan’s avid fan base. To hear Dan tell it, “getting up on stage is my first love” and it shows with over 50 performances in the last year.

In late 2007, Dan showcased at the Songwriters Circle in New York City’s Greenwich Village (Nora Jones, Kate Voegele). Dan placed as a semi-finalist in the competition and soon thereafter signed a management deal with New York City based TC Music, LLC. For Dan, the last year and a half has been full of activity. Dan has placed 9 songs with MTV Networks for use with their various shows – performed as the half time entertainment at the New York Titians Lacrosse game in Trenton N.J to a crowd of over 8,000 – had his song “Never Not Want” featured in the independent film “Play The Game” (Paul Campbell, Marla Sokoloff, Doris Roberts, Andy Griffith.) - called on by Brooke Primont VP of Creative at Cherry Lane Music Publishing (Black Eyed Peas, Toby Gad) to co-write with various co-writers at Cherry Lane Music. The summer of 2008 ends with Dan traveling to Los Angeles for writing and recording sessions with platinum recording engineer/producer Tone (Carlos Santana, Green Day.) Recent promotion include reviews in the Muse’s Muse, New Jersey Herald News, performances on Jammin TV and being selected by A.L. Harper of https://www.tradebit.com as one of her Top 10 artists. Harper’s review included the statement “…Dan Ferrari is the saving grace of pop music.” The CD “Don’t Let It Fall” was recorded with songwriter/producer John Lardieri (Wyclef, Lumidee, Eamon). The CD will be available online at iTunes, https://www.tradebit.com, Napster, etc this fall.

Dan is currently performing shows along the East Coast of the U.S. in support of his CD “Don’t Let It Fall.” In addition to his performance schedule, Dan is recording new material for various film and television projects.
