Travis and Justin of Sleepwalk, a Robot used to teach high school math...but the quirky duo couldn’t keep their unique brand of catchy acoustic digi-rock to themselves. So far, it’s working out well; intensive regional touring and fan interaction is quickly giving the former math teachers a recognizable name in Arizona. The compact nature of the band has allowed them to capitalize on Guerilla-style performances -- including house parties, colleges, and high schools -- to reach a diverse audience, but armed with electronic bass and beats this two-piece can dish out a remarkable amount of sound at large venues.
Sleepwalk, a Robot consider their most valuable assets (aside from self-proclaimed, "interesting but pop-sensible" songs) their ability and willingness to tour at the drop of a hat, their appeal to a wide range of audiences, unpredictable live shows, and the unusual character of the band. "We''re a full band...with only two members," declares singer Travis Pack, "people are pretty shocked when we get up [on stage] and produce the sound we do."
