New Album from "SIMZ"....American R&B Artist
also known as SIMEON-B. Album title: "All or Nothin''" Sophomore Album... first album titled: "LETS RYDE"

Privileged to have worked with some of the most creative minds in the music industry today, Simeon-B also known as "SIMZ", has comprised a blend of songs for both young and the mature. The production style is as unique as the lyrical content, and the dynamic vocals performed. Taking up Classical piano for a full school year in middle school, Simeon in the summer of his ninth grade year abandoned Classical styles and began taking up Jazz Piano from a neighborhood friend. I had to change my whole concept toward the overtones and note bending that occurs in Jazz! It broke all the rules that I had been taught in Classical Music." In addition to the music theory taught formally, there was the strong influence of Hip-Hop and R&B soul in the City of Baltimore. "Growing up in the west side of Baltimore, most of your associates weren''t into Classical or Jazz, unless their parents forced them to, but every associate I can think of could relate to the Hip-Hop and R&B soul movement. "Singing was always a part of my life. I never sang in the church, but I did sing for the girls in school and in the neighborhood. Around that time all I knew was Michael Jackson, New Edition, Bobby Brown, Jodeci and Immature. I never was encouraged to sing as a serious entertainer growing up. My parents were very conservative and wouldn''t dare you try to become any kind of star! Go to school, that was it! Simeon became serious about singing a the age of 17, while singing in a College cafeteria. "I was hanging out there, most of my friends where older at the time, it was then that a young lady singer gave me her management''s number. I called them and I sang Stevie Wonder''s "Ribbon in the Sky" and they offered to be my management on the spot. In those days I was just singing and writing, but I knew I wanted to produce due to my heavy Jazz and Classical influences, I eventually had to move on because they insisted that I use the producers provided, but the chemistry just wasn''t working at all, I had to find my own musical path." Most of Simeon''s independent resilient spirit he believes, is due to the sudden death of his father at the age of 12. "When the head of the house passes away like that out the blue, it left me, my mom and my three sisters in a state of total shock. From that tragic moment, I became the man of the house at the age of 12, everything I did was life or death cause there was no father to correct me. I could have become one of those rebels without a cause, but I never wanted to cause any pain to my Mother and my family in general, that''s when my music literally saved me from the streets of Baltimore, music became my life, and from that point up until this day, I am thankful for every fan that shares my vision by listening and embracing my music, it''s all comes from my heart and soul!"
