Details:
A soulful storyteller, P.M. Eaton takes his listeners on a multi-faceted journey using the combined influences of rhythm and blues, rock, soul, hip-hop, gospel and jazz to fully express a musical worldview.

A seasoned performer/singer/songwriter/instrumentalist P. M. has performed for Heads of State and World Leaders including: Nelson Mandela, George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth, Fidel Castro, Jimmy Carter, Anwar Sadat and Colin Powell, among many others. His talent has afforded him audiences on nearly every major concert stage in the world including: Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, Victoria Center (Melbourne), Seoul Arts Center, Royal Albert Hall, The Academy of Music and The Kimmell Center. He has performed as a guitarist for Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Bernie Worrell of P- Funk, Rosevelt "Bubba" Barnes, Dee Dee Sharp, Chubby Checker, Peter Himmilmann and Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. P.M. has also shared the stage with many artists such as The Ohio Players, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Mtume, Tower of Power, Meshell'' IndegeOcello, G-Love & Special Sauce, Screaming Headless Torso''s, Brian McKnight, MusicSoulChild, The Roots, Living Colour and Marcus Miller to name a few.

As a soloist with The Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale and The Fiskites & Co. Ensemble A Capella, P.M.''s extensive travel and experiences have helped form his well-rounded philosophy of the conveyance of true emotion through music. After all, music is a Universal Language. The fast-paced world of instant gratification numbs our ability to appreciate the subtleties of life. P.M. uses his music to help his listeners focus in and absorb the world around them and to remind them to envision all of the beauty that life has to offer.

Although P.M. is young in years, he projects wisdom in his musical style and an authority in his playing. Mentored at The University of Hartford''s: Hartt School of Music by Jazz Legend Jackie McLean, P.M.''s roots are firmly planted in the quest for musical excellence. In addition to his college experience, his Philadelphia upbringing has provided a network of musicians unlike any other and P.M. has taken full advantage of his city''s rich musical history. His collaborations with some of Philly''s hottest producers have added to his stylistic diversity. P.M. has most recently appeared on Electra Records recording, Gerald Levert The G-Spot. He appears on Bass Player T.M. Stevens last three albums on Victor Records.

P.M.''s current project, Phunkyman, is an attempt to explore all of the overflowing elements of his passions, joys and sorrows and is eloquently expressed by his soulful guitar work in "Can''t Have You", his smooth vocal styling in "Funky Sunshine" and the quirky yet fun-loving songwriting of "Summertime". The Phunkyman Project could be labeled "New Blues" in the tradition of Jimi Hendrix''s new blues philosophy, which helped him create timeless music. This timelessness of storytelling is P.M.''s purpose as he guides his listeners on a soulful journey to the distant landscapes of the heart.
