Craig Newton plays just about any instrument you hand him. He is a professional singer/songwriter that loves his job! He writes mostly from life experiences but also gets inspiration from literature, and movies. This album The Curtain Goes Up are songs that were written over many years and finally made it to a recording session with a lot of help from many talented musicians.
Craig currently resides in Southern California doing music full time. He is married with three children, one Siamese cat that is 17 years old, and a female American Bulldog named Harley. He works with two bands a Johnny Cash Tribute Band called the Mighty Cash Cats, and the Rhythm Rangers. These bands have toured the Midwest and are received with sold out venues.
