A native of Suffolk, VA, Galloway, says his father told stories on road trips. Galloway''s career began at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.



He is affiliated with Young Audiences, the SC Carolina Arts Commission, & TN Arts Commission. He earned his Master''s Degree in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN. His notable performance venues include the Smithsonian, Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, National Black Arts Festival, the Jimmy Carter Center, & is a featured teller on ''Inside Storytelling'', a documentary on the art of storytelling.

Chetter has also been featured on CNN''s Inside Africa, Southern Living Magazine, and in Ghost magazine.

Engaging, animated, and energetic, he incorporates music into his performances with his loyal sidekick and travel companion, the Jembe, a West African percussion instrument. Chetter invites you to . . . "Feel the rhythm & Live the Story"!
