Band Bio:

Archon Legion was forged under the name Golgotha three years ago and have been spreading it''s tainted gospel across western Canada since it''s inception, with a successful fan base locally and in Vancouver, as well raising their fan base across the country. The bands new album “March of the Inquisitors” is their first full length featuring 9 mind melting tracks. The band describe their music as a mixture of power/death and some black metal going from clean harmonized vocals to hard death metal grind going to shredding melodic metal. They have already shared the stage with Omega Crom, Thine Eyes Bleed, Unexpect and when headliner Metal Church didn''t show up to play at the Cobalt in Vancouver, these young ''Riders of the Tiger'' called upon all the glory of their Viking forefathers and let loose a severe thrashin'' upon the unruly crowd, quelling the metal rebellion and thus securing their Infamy for Brutality. Being one of Victoria''s best and brutalist metal bands, Archon Legion slays not only Dragons but also every crowd they''ve ever scorched with their savage guitar licks.

March of the Inquisitors Bio:

March of the Inquisitors is a concept album based on a fictional story of a battle between good and evil. Mankind is left for extinction when it quickly rebuilds itself to grasp revenge upon it''s demon ancestors. Every song tells a part of the story of the epic battle between the human race and the beings from hell. The whole album is going to have a very dark and epic atmosphere lyrically. Going from harsh death growls to harmonized clean vocals while shredding from happy power metal to brutal blasts. Very Classic Metal influenced and very old school sounding. The insert is fully drawn up, taking images from the comic Champions of Hell to have one image that corresponds with the lyrics for each song.

Reviews:

The long awaited release from these four harbingers of doom has arrived. It is a heaping helping of in-your-face, unapologetic metal madness. Upon first glance at the demonic artwork depicting demons slaying and beheading humans, provided by Robin Thompson of Champions of Hell infamy, you know you are in for a delight. The intro gets you primed for what is to come - songs about ancient battles, mass bloodshed and rotting corpses are few and far between these days and these shredtacular dudes deliver! Snarling vocal stylings are dual layered and at times sound like Cannibal Corpse and at others, Ronnie James Dio. This is a record you can throw on, raise the devil horns and muck about like you were on the warpath or preparing for some epic battle. These fellas from Victoria have their sights set on global domination, one felled dragon at a time.

After hearing this new recording I had to borrow some cream off of my neighbor for my seriously scorched balls! This is metal up your ass and out your mouth! A serious nod to the old school, with enough new shit goping on to keep everyone stoked. These guys remind me of everything from Riot, Overkill, Priest, Mercyful Fate, Accept, Coroner to newer shit like Wolf and October 31st, with blast beats one minute into Obituary style gallops the next! More Solos than a 1988 Dayglo''s gig with some like Dave Murray, some like Ace Frehley, some Randy Rhoads and some like Micheal Shenker. I could compare these guys to 200 baands yet they sound like none of them. This shit actually makes me want to go out and throw rocks at cars! If you don''t like metal don''t buy this, and go fuckin'' die!
