Details:
Anthony Dixon
Anthony has played in musical groups at four California theme parks. Since then, he has played in six different musical groups in Florida, where he has played styles as diverse as Dixieland, Jazz, Bluegrass, Country and Classic Rock. In fact, when asked what style he is most comfortable with, he likely to say "Dixiegrass Rock." In addition to his frenetic regular schedule, Anthony found time to play with some of the greats in the music industry, including Barbara Mandrell and Earl Scruggs. He has also played with notables such as Sandy Duncan, Bob Magrath, and even Bozo the Clown (Dixiegrass, no doubt). And just to prove his flexibility, he has played for three U.S. Presidents: Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Sr., and Bill Clinton. Now Anthony has, once again, wowed audiences with his eclectic repertoire. You will find it fresh, fun and different.
Musicale Mark
Beginning to take piano at the age of 4, Mark drove his older brother crazy by solemnly watching him practice his piano lessons and then walking up to the keyboard where he would faithfully reproduce what he had heard. Mark has always done piano just a little bit differently.
As a youth, Mark was intructed in classical piano, but when the teacher''s back was turned, he would add little licks and variations to the masters'' work. By the time he had reached college, this penchant for extemporization had manifested itself as variations on Bach, Beethoven and Mozart that nearly got him thrown out of the music school.
Fortunately, he was allowed to stay and, after receiving his degree in business and piano performance, he went on the road, playing top 40 music. Ultimately, this led to a gig in California where, for several years, he delighted audiences with his ability to transform just about anything musical into catchy, toe-tapping piano licks.
Mark found his true niche when he accepted a gig in Tokyo. When he got there, he was directed to a piano on a bicycle frame and told that he would be expected to peddle it around while playing honky-tonk.
After Tokyo, Mark moved to Florida, where he built a new bicycle-piano. Mark and his piano have become a fixture at a local theme park and special events, where he excites audiences from around the world with his unique brand of honky-tonk, and ragtime classics.
