Patrick Dillery is an active free-lance flutist, studio musician, private teacher and clinician.
A native of St Paul, Minnesota, he is a graduate of the Ithaca College School of Music and furthered his private studies in France and New York City.
He has performed with orchestras and in concert in the USA, Israel, France and England and was for several years principal flutist at Rhein-Main Theater in Frankfurt, Germany where he was also flute with the Bayern Kammeropern.
Recently, he has presented concerts and master classes in Taiwan as an artist/clinician for Jupiter Flutes International, he also presents flute ensemble clinics and lectures throughout the USA for Jupiter. He has also been a featured soloist with the Delta Queen Steamboat Co. and Celebrity and Silversea Cruise lines in Europe and Asia.
He has been featured on National Public Radio in live interview/performances and has also appeared on regional broadcasts of NBC’s Today Show in the Midwest.
His new CD “A Flutist’s Journey” is a tribute to the many places visited and performed as well as an homage to his ancestors. He can also be heard on various recording of shows and movies and promotional CD’s for Jupiter Flutes.
He formed his own company, Patrick and Friends, several years ago to promote music for corporate occasions and concerts as well as weddings and other special events such as flute ensemble and performance seminars and master classes.
He resides in New York City with his wife Sarah and son Will.
