After the success of Paoli’s two earlier productions (“Transcend” and Grammy nominated “Mi Tambor”) Puerto Rican percussionist Paoli Mejías releases “JAZZAMBIA” accompanied by the greatest musicians on the jazz scene: Miguel Zenon & Jaleel Shaw - sax, Antonio Sanchez & Tony Escapa - drums, Luis Perdomo - piano, Hans Glawischnig – bass, among others.
Recorded at Kaleidoscope Studios June 4-5, 2008 and mixed by Grammy Award Winning Engineer Jon Fausty at Morrisound Studios, “JAZZAMBIA” is another great milestone in Paoli’s international career.
“JAZZAMBIA” includes original compositions by Miguel Zenon, Nestor Toro, Hans Glawischnig, Robert Rodriguez, Luis Perdomo, Yan Carlos Artime, Ricardo Pons and Luis Raul Romero.
