P.O.M.S aka Stylus, was born in Toronto''s Rexdale area where most of the cities crime and poverty hail from. Growing up in Rexdale educated him early about the struggle and harsh realities this world can bring and how we have to try extra hard especially as a minority to do something positive and successful with life. His musical influences were Snoop, Tupac, N.W.A, Method Man, Redman, Nas, The Lost Boyz and just watching the older heads on the block flowing doing their thing. Growing up P.O.M.S always had an interest in music and would sometimes stay up all night writing and rhyming to step up his game and perfect his flow. Though he hasn''t reached his lyrical peak he''s already getting put in a catagory of one of Toronto''s hottest acts because of the electricity he brings to the stage.
