Originally from Nebraska, Jeremy began playing bass at 14 and was composing less than a year later. He had written and recorded all of the material for ''Seeking Shelter'' before his 19th birthday.
A daring first album, ''Shelter'' is bare-bones, an extremely exposed "live solo album without the audience". The intimate setting allows for a great range of raw emotion and styles - from ominous and brooding classical to jazz with a thick swagger. Seven original compositions that take inspiration from "the playground that Bach and Pastorious played in together as kids."
Along with performing solo, Jeremy has played in orchestra pits, jazz ensembles, and blues bands. He is currently located in Philly, where he is finishing up his second album and gigging with the post-rock group Voodoo Economics.
