DEBRIS is a Boston-based hard rock quintet, consisting of the power precision of Bryan Bales on drums, the dual sonic barrage of Michael Dudas and Justin Ballard on guitars, the dynamic groove of Bill Whitney on bass and the 3-headed vocal assault of Robert Whelan, Justin Ballard and Michael Dudas. Lollipop Magazine calls DEBRIS'' music "A roller coaster of longing, violence, introspection and ass shaking groove." Their diverse blend of melody and aggression makes them increasingly difficult to categorize, but impossible to ignore. DEBRIS has appeared all over Massachusetts at venues such as Bills Bar, The Hard Rock Cafe, the Paradise Rock Club, The Roxy and The Avalon (Boston), TT the Bears Place, The Middle East upstairs and downstairs, The House of Blues (Cambridge), The Lucky Dog Music Hall(Worcester), Club Fuel (Lowell), and The Compound (Fitchburg). DEBRIS has also shared the stage with some of the best rock acts in the country including Genuflect, Nullset, Haloburn, Till We Die, Rubikon and Shinedown. DEBRIS has received airplay on many of the top radio stations across the country including, WAAF, WBCN, WFNX, WGIR(Rock 101), WCUW, WCCC and KMRQ. With the 2003 release of their 6 song "The Lost EP", DEBRIS established themselves as a new and exciting force in the Boston music scene. Their impending follow-up "Operation Bostar" promises to be the most diverse release of the hard rock genre in recent memory. With this full-length album, Debris intends to break down the barriers of the genre and redefine hard rock and metal for years to come.
