''Quick as Thieves'' is Steve Anthony and Ritchie Rich. Based in New Jersey, this duo has worked together for more than a decade. Main influences are ''anything soul''. These go back as far as, but are not limited to, early Motown and classic soul artists as The Temptations (including all solo artists from the group), Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson & James Brown to name a few (Okay, that''s more than a few!). More current include Boyz II Men, Take 6, Prince, Babyface & Michael McDonald. Quite a few female artists have been influences as well, as have artists in other genres.
Quick as Thieves is focused on delivering productions that reveal more of what made music "music back in the day" while presenting a sound current for the times.
