Haynie(right) grew up in the land poverty in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his mother and two older sisters. His father, Haynie Smith Sr. passed away when Haynie Jr. was only four years old. Haynie attended school in Milwaukee, graduating from Washington High School at age 17 in 2002. Following high school, he furthered his education majoring in Business Management and graduating from MATC in 2006.

Haynie, is a proud parent of a set of twins, rapper and keyboardist. His main musical influences are Master P, due to business sense; 2 Pac because he discussed political issues in his music, and Michael Jackson because of his talent and stage presence. There are multiple other artists who have had an influence on both his writing and music style.

William(left), also grew up in the land of poverty in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his mother, older sisters and younger brother. He attended school in Milwaukee graduating from Bay View High School in 2004. Following high school, William extended his education by majoring in Music Occupations and will soon graduate MATC in 2009.

William has been performing locally in school since 1998. He credits Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts for inspiring him to pursue his dream of a career in the music industry. He has performed in multiple local choir competitions and talent shows. He was a part of the Roosevelt Middle School Choir that won a state championship in 2000.

The two formed a rap group called Generation''s Field (G-field). In 2004 at age 20, G-field started working on their first album called "Poor man’s Dream." The album was released locally in early 2005. In 2006, G-field continued to work in the studio, researching the music industry, and perfecting their music business skills by becoming Writer/Composer’s affiliated with BMI and establishing an independent record label called Emerging Music Entertainment.

In 2007 at age 23, the group was the opening artist at local club Timbuktu and summer events including, African World Festival. In 2008 generations field continued to promote their new album "Live from Poverty Hills" by performing at club Finesse, Nostalgia, and open Mic concerts. The first two singles “Another Bad Club Song and In My City” from their new LP was debuted on 91.7FM radio station. Generation’s Field was quickly called in for a radio interview from radio station’s DJ Craig McNeal. Haynie with an Associate''s Degree in Business Management and Will seeking A Degree in Music Occupation, together are planning to use the education they received and convert it into the music business world. "The Live from Poverty Hills" album will be released in fall 2008
